Aim of role:
Offer adhoc manpower support for community driven events (set up, tear down and promotion of Lions Befrienders’ programmes to seniors and public.
Location:
Island-wide locations (depending on event venue), Home-based
Commitment Level / Frequency:
Ad-hoc basis (est. 3-4 hours)
Roles & Responsibilities:
– To promote and share information on the LB Programme to the public, including seniors during community roadshows/events.
– To set up and tear down event logistics, including roadshow devices and collaterals.
Requirements & Skills
– Comfortable to converse in English and/or at least one other Mother Tongue or Dialect
*This could be suitable for students who might be interested to help on adhoc basis, learn about the sector and gain VIA hours
*New Volunteers will have to attend an Orientation Training before commencement
